This is a great race for a beginning triathlete. The swim is a walk in walk out, so you are not treading water at the start. The bike path has some potholes, but they were supposed to fix those for the race in July 2009. The race was managed very well, with plenty of support staff and direction. The run is nice and manageable. Overall, a great race-it was my first tri sprint and I loved it!
