I expected Kinetic to be the same as it's sister race, Giant Acorn, which is also hosted at Lake Anna. It was actually located on the "cold" side of the lake and the course was completely different. The Kinetic bike was 18mi and both the bike and run were moderately difficult. Overall, it was a nice race with scenic, winding country roads. Great turn out of racers and spectators.....All of the excitement inspired my mom and sisters to sign up for their first tri!
