The event distances and the course its self are good for beginners. There is little vehicular traffic and the overall dificulty is very low. If you are looking for an easy race to get you feet wet this is the one for you. I was highly dissapointed in the set up of the event. The bike in, run out, and finish line were all within 15 feet of each other and I witnessed several accidents of runners getting run over and bikers not having enough room to finish. The Olympic swim was a one loop course and the Sprint swim was an out and back using the last 200m of the Olympic course. The started the olympic first causing more than an hour delay in the Sprint start. Last but not least there was NO electronic timing it was all done by hand. Overall the course is nice and there is plenty of parking but the set up leaves a lot to be desired. Id give it a 2 out of 5.
