The course is beautiful and the volunteers and water stops/bottle handups are terrific! Awesome race and I highly recommend it, especially for a first timer 1/2 or full IM.

This is my favorite event of all time. The swim is in a very clean, man-made lake; the bike is on gentle rolling hills road, and the run is around the lake on sidewalk and road. It is supported by the best volunteers that exist, and they are very motivating. The waterstops and handups are awesome, and have plenty of supplies to include food and drink. There's a half and full going on at the same time, so there's all kinds of levels of folks around you all the time. This is my 3rd year in triathlon, and 3rd 70.3, and I have done a bunch of marathons and this is my most favorite race by far. This should be an Ironman sanctioned race as this race director knows what he's doing.
