The highlight of the triathlon was the excellent coaching/mentoring that was offered to participants. I've done 6 other Danskin triathlons, and this one was by far the best in that respect.
The lowlight was there weren't nearly enough angels/spotters in the water. Previous Danskin triathlons had many kayakers in the water to assist with distressed swimmers, and even offered "noodles" to those women that needed them. The lack of help in the water can be very stressful for 1st time (and even 2nd and 3
